More than a promo

Promax was set up in 1989 to help develop the skills of promo-makers and reward their achievements. It has certainly worked - Promax now has a massive network of members, supporters, sponsors, patrons and friends including the most influential media names in the business.

What did they want?

Promax needed a new website to showcase the work they were doing - to engage with their members - to build a community - to let everyone SEE the best promos in the business. It needed to be stylish, colourful and be able to handle streaming (and managing) a shed load of videos.

Community unity

Building a web community is tricky. How do you get people to actually... you know... engage. A number of ways, actually. Rantmedia created a 'MyPromax' area where members can keep their details up to date and access member-only areas of the site. Members can vote on videos, and leave comments. Oh, and there's a forum too.

We also created some 'value added' features like the Industry Directory to help make Promax UK the hub for "all things promo".
